Diana Submarine Vega - FINA 2010 APPROVED  For the first time a competition swimsuit has been created using a hydrophobic fabric. (Hydrophobic means the physical property of the molecules being rejected by the water). The interior has a water repellent treatment.
These suits feature a new fabric SPF (Stretch Polimix Fabric) which is fully compliant with FINA 2010 rules. The fabric is made using a polyurethane elastic yarn - the advantages of which are obvious in terms of water slide and compression. Vega Submarines have been created combining only 2 pieces of fabric – thus ensuring a strong reduction of dynamic friction and consequently better water slide. Seams are thermofused - new technology allows six thread seams covered by fabric and thermofused so increasing the resistance of the swimsuit, minimizing the dynamic friction and leaving great freedom of movement to the swimmer.
